Dental Implant Glue

What is a cheaper alternative to dental implants?

I have a front tooth that is chipped in half and in half again from the back. Ya, kinda weird angle to shatter. It happened from a very odd incident.

I had the original tooth “glued” surgically back on with no problems until my dog knocked it out. We were going through some very bad money troubles and couldn’t get a dentist to glue it back on (superglue might cause dental problems).

Now that I have gone through several excruciating abscesses over the past few years it is on my mind to get it pulled. My main problem is still money. My only option I have seen is a dental implant, which will cost nearly 4k dollars after extraction and implant. I tried to reshape a vampire tooth cap from Hot Topic, lmao. Didn’t work though.

Any other less costly dental procedures or some kind of less sightly way to cover my tooth? I look like a retarded hillbilly. >_<

Is it possible to do a root canal and crown? It’s cheaper than an implant and you wouldn’t get anymore infections. If you can’t afford the crown, you can just get the root canal and a temporary crown can be put on until you can afford a permanent one. The temporary ones aren’t great but I’ve had 3 on for about 2 years.

If it’s too badly broken for a root canal and you can’t afford an implant, just get a partial denture. 6 of the teeth I’ve had pulled were taken out because they were either badly broken or decayed. In all those cases, I was told they could have been saved with a root canal and crown but I couldn’t afford it – even a tooth where the front half was broken down to the gum line. There’s no way I’ll ever be able to afford implants but partial dentures are much cheaper (plus, my insurance covers it in full). It’s just a fake tooth that’s held in place by anchors.
