Dental Implant Plans

How much can I save getting Dental implants at a Dental School?

I am thinking about getting dental implants, but unfortunately I am very low on cash. I have heard that being treated at a dental school (university of maryland dental college) by students is much cheaper. Now my plan is to get insurance to help cut the costs even lower, and if I still can’t afford it then a dental financing plan to go along with that. I have two teeth that need to be done, my two maxillary lateral incisors (the ones next to the two front teeth).

My questions are:
About how much can I save by doing this?
Will an insurance plan cover Implants at a Dental School? If so, what are the best ones?
Will the fact that I need two teeth done lower my value as a patient, and therefore increase the price per tooth or even make me ineligible?

Thanks so much.

Dental schools are usualy cash only. Every school is different. You will need to go in and have a consultation done. But you have to make sure they are willing to do implants for you. Insurance usually doesn’t cover anything at a dental school.
